UtopiAD is a company that pays you to use your computer while viewing advertisements. Their software is called the CashBar. You are paid a percentage of the advertising revenue generated from the ads you see. You are also paid a percentage of the advertising revenue generated from the ads that your referrals see.
Payment Questions:
What is their payment plan?
- You are paid 40% of the advertising revenue generated from the ads that you see while using the CashBar. You are also paid 10% of the advertising revenue generated for ads your referrals see. For your second level referrals, you are paid 5% of the revenue, 2% for your third level referrals, and 1% of your fourth level referrals.
Is there a maximum amount of referrals?
- No, you can have an unlimited amount of referrals.
Is there a maximum amount of payable hours?
- No.
How do I get paid?
- You are paid every three months by check, when your account exceeds $20. Any unpaid amount is carried forward to the next quarter.

How difficult is the signup process?
- It is very simple. You only have to click on Join Now, and fill out a very basic form, and a short survey.
What personal information do I have to give to sign up?
- You must supply UtopiAD with your name and address information, and your email address. You must also fill out a 16 question survey that asks for your birth year, gender, marital status, income, education level, employment status, some online usage statistics, and if you are a webmaster or not.
Can I download the software and start making money immediately?
- No, currently you have to wait to download the CashBar. You can, however, begin building your referral base, so that when you can download the CashBar, you begin making more money.
Do they provide any tools to help me with referrals?
- Yes, they provide personalized emails that you can send to your friends, as well as banners for your website.

How big is the ad display on the screen?
- It is about 1 inch tall across the bottom of your screen.
Can I reposition the ad display on my screen?
- Yes, you can place it anywhere on your screen.
Is the software available for systems not running Windows (i.e. Mac)?
- I have emailed UtopiAD about this, and am awaiting a response.
Can I customize the software?
- No.
Can I use this software at the same time I am using another "Paid to Surf" companies software?
- Yes.
Are there any additional features of the software?
- Yes, you can turn it on and off with a single click.

Do I have to be browsing the internet to make money, or does it work when programs other than my web browser are running?
- No, you only have to be connected to the internet with the CashBar on to be making money.
Do I have to click on the ads, or buy anything?
- No, you are paid only for viewing the ads.
Can I use the service on more than one computer?
- Yes, you can use the service on any number of computers, but you can only have one account. Also, one computer can only have one account on it.
Can I view my account information (hours logged, current accrued amount, etc.) on their website?
- Yes, UtopiAD supplies you with more information than most of the other companies that I've reviewed. They not only let you view your earnings statistics, but you can also view your referral quantities, and your direct referrals' member codes.
Can I change my account information?
- Yes, you can modify your name and address information, as well as your login name, and password.
Are there any special rules I should know about?
- Yes, you may only have one account. You can't spam people to gain referrals. Any member caught spamming will lose their membership.
Is the service available to international users?
- Yes, all are welcome.
Does the company offer any other programs?
- Not yet.
