The questions are designed to highlight the benefits, and show the shortcomings of the different programs. There are detailed explanations of what each question is asking, and what it is looking for below. Payment Questions:
What is their payment plan?
Is there a maximum amount of referrals?
Is there a maximum amount of payable hours?
How do I get paid?

Getting Started
How difficult is the signup process?
How much personal information do I have to give?
Can I download the software and start making money immediately?
Do they provide any tools to help me with referrals?

Software Questions:
How large is the ad display software download?
How big is the ad display on my screen?
Can I reposition the advertisement display?
Is the software available for systems not running Windows (i.e. Mac)?
Can I customize the software?
Can I use this software at the same time I am using another "Paid to Surf" companies software?
Are there any additional features of the ad display software?

Other Questions
Do I have to be browsing the internet to make money, or does it work when other programs are running?
Do I have to click on the ads, or buy anything?
Can I use the service on more than one computer?
Can I view my account information (hours logged, current accrued amount) on their website?
Can I change my account information?
Are there any special rules or restrictions I should know about?
Is the service available to international users?
Does the company offer any other programs?

Payment Questions:

: This question will answer the basic payment questions--Does it pay hourly, by the number of views, or some other way? How much do you get for your own usage, and how much do you get for your referrals?

: This question is very self-explanatory. Most programs do not have a maximum referral quantity. What this means is that there is no limit to the amount of money you can earn through your referrals.

: Most of the programs have a maximum number hours that you can view the ads and get paid. This question will let you know if there is such a limit.

: This question will tell you how often you get paid, what type of payment it is (check, etc.), if there is any processing charge, and if there is a minimum check amount.

Getting Started:

: This question addresses the actual form that you have to fill out to sign up. It will let you know how difficult it is to use.

: This goes hand in hand with the previous question. It will give you the actual information that will be required to sign up.

: Several of the companies have a waiting period before you can download their software, and begin making money. This question will tell you which companies do this. With all of the companies, you can begin making referrals immediately.

: Most of the companies provide some tools, such as banner ads and personalized emails, that you can use to attract referrals. This question will describe any such tools, if there are any.

Software Questions:

: This will tell you the actual download size (i.e. 4 mg) of the installation program.

: This refers to the actual size of the display, and how intrusive it is to using the computer.

: This question is pretty self-explanatory. This will tell you is you can move the display around on the screen, or if it is stationary.

: Again, pretty self-explanatory. This will tell you if the software is available for other operating systems, and if so, which ones.

: This will let you know if you can modify the software in any way to fit your personal preferences.

: This question is very important, because if you can use more than one program at once, you could be making twice as much money. This will tell you if you can do this.

: Some of the software has additional functionality, like one-click opening and closing, and control over which ads you can see.

Other Questions:

: Most of the programs can only be used when actively browsing the internet, but some can be used while doing other things. This question will tell you the particular usage requirements.

: This question will tell you if you have any responsibility to click on any of the ads you see. I haven't come across one like this yet.

: If you want to be able to make money from both home and work, this question will tell you.

: Most of the companies let you login to their site and view your current usage statistics, as well as view and change your name and address information.

: This question will tell you if you can change any of your information, like name and address information.

: Most of the programs require that you follow some basic rules. This question will detail these rules for you.

: This question will tell you if you can use the program in countries other than the United States.

: Several of the companies have other programs and offers. This question will tell you about them.
