Desktop Dollars will pay you to view advertisements on their software, called to ProfitZONE while using your computer connected to the internet. They will also pay you for referring people to their service. They will begin to pay people once their membership reaches 500,000.
Payment Questions:
What is their payment plan?
- You get paid $0.50/hr while you are connected to the internet and using the ProfitZONE. You are also paid $0.10/hr for your direct referrals' usage, and $0.02/hr each for your 2nd through 6th level referrals' usage.
Is there a maximum amount of referrals?
- No, you can refer as many people as you want.
Is there a maximum amount of payable hours?
- Yes, you can only be paid for 40 hours of usage.
How do I get paid?
- You will be paid monthly by check, once your account reaches $20.
Getting Started
How difficult is the signup process?
- It is not very difficult, just click on Join Now on their website, or on one of the links on this page, and fill out a relatively simple form, and a short survey. You also have to enter two of your friends email addresses to start your referral network.
What personal information do I have to give to sign up?
- You have to provide Desktop Dollars with your name and address information, email address, and your birthday. You are also asked for gender, education level, some occupation information, and a couple of questions about your interests, though these questions are all optional.
Can I download the software and start making money immediately?
- You can download the ProfitZONE immediately, and begin using it. They won't start paying people, however, until their membership reaches 500,000.
Do they provide any tools to help me with referrals?
- Yes, they provide members with personalized emails to send to your friends, banners, and handouts that you can print and distribute.

How large is the software download?
- The ProfitZONE is about 3 megabytes.
How big is the ad display on the screen?
- It is approximately the size of a banner ad.
Can I reposition the ad display on my screen?
- No, it resides on the bottom of your screen.
Is the software available for systems not running Windows (i.e. Mac)?
- No, the software is only available for Windows. But, anyone can signup and refer people, and make money off of the referrals usage. This is one of the only programs that doesn't require that you actually use the software.
Can I customize the software?
- No.
Can I use this software at the same time I am using another "Paid to Surf" companies software?
- Yes.
Are there any additional features of the software?

- You only have to be connected to the internet, with the ProfitZONE open, to be making money.

- No, you only have to view the ads to make money.

- Yes, but you can only have one account.
Can I view my account information (hours logged, current accrued amount, etc.) on their website?
- Yes.
Can I change my account information?

Are there any special rules I should know about?
- You can only sign up once. You can't spam to get referrals.
Is the service available to international users?
- Yes, the service is available to select international users. To find out if you can sign up, visit their registration page, and if your country is in the drop down menu, you can join.
Does the company offer any other programs?
- Yes, the company also offers a program called Triple Play, where webmasters can make three times as much money for referrals. Once I have more information about this program, I will post it here.
